Prep the Pool Noodle Slide Cut the pool noodle lengthwise if you want the elf to sit inside it like a slide. Or keep it whole and use it as the base to glue cereal on top. 2. Glue on the Cereal Tip: Wrap the noodle with aluminum foil or plastic wrap first if you want to reuse it later. Use hot glue or strong craft glue to stick Froot Loops along the noodle, covering it entirely to look like a stream of cereal. Let dry completely. 3. Attach the Cereal Box Cut open the cereal box so it looks like it’s pouring cereal out. Tape or glue the top of the noodle inside the open flap of the box. 4. Position the Slide Use command strips or tape to attach the cereal box to the top of a cabinet or wall, angling it downward. Let the pool noodle rest on the edge of a table or lead down into a bowl. 5. Set the Scene Place a bowl at the bottom of the noodle and fill with Froot Loops. Sit your Elf on the Shelf halfway down the noodle to look like it’s sliding. 6. Optional Extras Add a spoon in the bowl Place small props or signs that say “Wheee!” or “Breakfast Time!”
